Auchan SA e Casino daranno presto vita ad una joint-venture per offrire servizi alla clientela internazionale.
La nuova società si rivolgerà ai fornitori internazionali che già conducono operazioni a livello internazionale, e che vogliono sviluppare un volume di affari al di fuori del mercato del loro paese.
Auchan e Casino tengono a precisare che la nuova società, chiamata INTERNATIONAL RETAIL AND TRADE SERVICES (IRTS) non è una nuova centrale di acquisto per le due aziende.
L’azienda che nasce da questa fusione permetterà a Auchan e Casino, che sono rispettivamente al diciannovesimo e al ventesimo posto nella classifica delle maggiori catene di supermercati al dettaglio, di incrementare il grado di competitività.
Auchan e Casino comunicano che le autorità della COMMISSIONE EUROPEA sono state informate del progetto di questa unione.

PARIS -(Dow Jones)- French retailing companies Auchan SA and Casino Guichard Perrachon said Monday they are creating a joint venture to offer retailing and trade services to international customers.

The new unit will target multinational suppliers that already negotiate business deals internationally, and small and medium-sized businesses that want to develop outside their home markets.
Auchan and Casino said that the new venture, called International Retail and Trade services, isn’t a new purchasing center for the two companies.
The joint company will allow Auchan and Casino, which are the world’s 19th- and 22nd-largest retailing groups in the world, respectively, to improve their competitiveness.
European Commission authorities have been notified of the planned linkup, the companies said.
